The following is a list of what I reckon are some of the best metal guitar solos around (please add yours in the comments). The "heaviness" of a band/song is based on my personal perception and might not necessarily match the norm.
The following rules of thumb have been followed:
- No instrumentals
- Electric only (obviously)
- Each band/artist can only be mentioned once.
