This is a spin-off from the excellent Bourne series with Matt Damon. This one has Jeremy Renner starring as a Bourne-like character albeit in a different project similar to Treadstone and Blackbriar. Thanks to the Bourne exposé, the CIA decides to shut down all other similar projects. This process involves liquidating all "samples" which includes Renner's character, Aaron Cross.
If part 1 was bad, part 2 isn't much of an improvement. Chuck Norris and Van Damme jump on this seniors tour bandwagon and it's not a pretty sight.
Stay away.
If the book wasn't bad enough for you, the movie is even worse. Avoid unless you are a fan or profess sadistic tendencies.
This movie leaves out the few things in the book that are actually interesting and leaves us with a dull hodge-podge of a film. Only watch if you're curious. I expect that the English adaptation will be far better.
I saw Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer last night, and boy did it suck! I've not really been much of a fan of either series - FF4 or Silver Surfer, but nevertheless, I thought this might be interesting as I was under the impression that this was the first instance of a crossover. Apparently, this is not the case.
