An entertaining documentary about people breaking records—mostly odd ones—to get into the Guinness book of world records. We understand why they do what they do and follow a few hows and so closes. We also get to see what happens to a guy's butt if he exercises on an exercycle for days on end.

This is probably the best Marx Brothers movie. Not much in the way of a plot. But there a couple of excellent scenes amidst some dated mediocrity.

Bonus star for its age.

Daniel Day-Lewis was great as Lincoln. The setting was good too as was the atmosphere. However, the script was rather dull and there wasn't much in the way of a plot which centred primarily on the passing of a bill to abolish slavery. I didn't think much of Tommy Lee Jones' character (quite stereotyped) or that of Sally Field as Mary Todd.

The movie's watchable. Once.

I thought that the acting in the first half was borderline poor. The older Pi is singularly unconvincing. The second half, on the other hand, has above-par acting and fantastic CGI. The star of the show? The Royal Bengal Tiger. The twist is worth the wait.
