Today's song of the day is Tsukiakari (moonlight) by a Japanese singer / songwrite named Rie Fu. The song is also the ED for the anime Darker Than Black which is how I came across it.
The song begins very peacefully and builds up soon after. The melody is wonderful and Rie's vocals suit it perfectly even if you don't understand most of what she's saying. While I'd have preferred that the song stayed as serene as the opening it's still pretty good. I also prefer the anime version of the song to the original which doesn't give me that peaceful easy feeling.
It's been on repeat for a while now.
